The Home and Garden Expo of Second Life opens tomorrow. This annual event is one of the mega-events that raises funds for Relay For Life of Second Life (RFLofSL) and The American Cancer Society. In 2016, the Expo celebrates its 9th year on the grid. This event brings 10 sims of home and garden designers together where each exhibits their exciting new offerings. Each exhibitor is required to offer 2 exclusive items for 100% donation to Relay For Life of Second Life. Additionally there are hunt items throughout the sims that can be purchased for a L$10 donation as well. Also at the Expo, you will find The Breedables Expo where you can find some awesome and unique breedables. Any auction presented at the Expo will result in 100% of all proceeds donated to RFLofSL.

All in all, the Expo is always a wonderful time. You can stroll around discovering new creators and designs, find a fun new breedable, attend the many events, and donate – donate – donate to Relay For Life of Second Life raising funds for The American Cancer Society.

The 2014 Second Life Home and Garden Expo will open to the public. The Home and Garden Expo is a fundraising event for Relay For Life of Second Life for benefit of the American Cancer Society. This year, the Home and Garden Expo will have nine (9) regions full of wonderful items from 90+ creators all for your virtual home and garden. In preparation of the event, I wanted to give you a sneak peak of the regions and provide some maps to help you get started when the sims open on September 16th!

.. 2014 Home and Garden Expo Opens September 16th ..

The 2014 Second Life Home and Garden Expo will be opening on September 16, 2014 and once again will raise money for Relay For Life of Second Life, the signature fundraising event for the American Cancer Society. The Home and Garden Expo, in its 7th year, is a fave among those that love to decorate, landscape and find new exciting offerings from Second Life’s home and garden creators. For this event, the exhibiting creators were required to display two brand new items created just for the Home and Garden Expo. Imagine the possibilities among the 90+ creators! Every item sold at this year’s Expo will be via an official Relay For Life of Second Life vendor and a preset percentage of the sales will be donated to RFL of SL. The percentages allowed are 20, 40, 60, 80 or 100 and will be displayed on each vendor. During the Expo, there will also be raffles, auctions, and a paid hunt – all filled with creations donated by the exhibitors. 100% of all donations paid to kiosks, raffles, auctions and hunts will go directly to RFL of SL. The 9 region event will run from September 16th through the 28th.
