Honeybriar in Eastwood County

December is always a busy month. The preparations for the holidays – decorating, gift-buying, shopping, parties, events, etc. In Second Life, it isn’t much different though getting around is just so much easier.

The Arcade Gacha Event closes tonight and it was a fun round with lots of holiday and winter oriented items. With me in this pic is the snowy ermine from +Half-Deer+ and the little Yorkies from .tsg. Run over now to grab these before the doors shut on this round!

On December 25th, the Sneak Peek event opened which encouraged shopping with the gift lindens we might have received. I wanted to step out for a stroll in Honeybriar in Eastwood County today, so I threw on this cute polka-dot coat and sweater set from Leri Miles Design. Paired with cute shoes from Fri., I was all set to stop in the confectionery shop for some yummies! Sneak Peek is open until January 5th, so be sure to stop in.

Winter in Second Life is so much easier than the slush, rainy, cold in the physical world. We can easily be outside no matter the weather that surrounds us in the virtual world which can make the beauty of winter shine through. This month’s Arcade brings us some fun items for winter and for just enjoying our virtual life. Today I decided to jump on the Carrier Tricycle from (epia) and go for a short ride. For today’s outing, the duffle coat from Coco was a perfect choice as were the white kitty earmuffs from Tableau Vivant to keep my ears warm. While I was out roaming the streets of Honeybriar in Eastwood County, I did get a bit tired and plopped down in the cart of the tricycle… a perfect place for a rest!
