She moves gracefully down the stairs. Her eyes focused on finding the quickest way to the door. The night had not gone as planned but does it ever? The guy seemed so charming on paper, via instant and text messaging. Was her ability to recognize the signs so disabled due to the hurt of the past?  Or was this one just that kind of jerk that can play the game so well?  At least she has learned to arrange for her own transportation and can make the very needed escape…back to her cozy safe cocoon…
