Or maybe you were worried you weren’t doing so well in algebra? Or perhaps there was something more serious on your mind? Depending on the era, your tunes could have ranged from disco to punk to alt rock to pop or even rap or country and perhaps you really didn’t have a worry but just were waiting for the next day to arrive…and the next as the school year began. Ariskea has created a lovely Namaste collection that will have you doing yoga and relaxing under the a serene hut. Astralia has the Pink Dreams collection with a sweet pink boat. Adde in the scene are items from Sari-Sari’s Vacation Dream set, Plastik’s Vindeluna collection and a sweet mutt from Jian’s Pibbles collection. Luckily Vale Koer offers an Urban Fitness outfit that works perfectly with the Smiley Stuff tip-toe sneakers from Pure Poison. Sometimes spring comes in so noticeably – the flowers pushing up through the top layer of soil, the buds popping out at the ends of the branches, the birds singing their beautiful songs in the morning air. But sometimes the season has so many starts and stops and do-overs due to the lingering of the cold and icy winter. In Second Life, we can celebrate the seasons we enjoy most at any time or we can create our own surroundings to fit our need or want. I find that summer is the most popular in Second Life with autumn a close second. Winter is fun and gets a lot of play in December. We often bleed right from winter into a more summer existence… it is often difficult to discern between spring and summer in this virtual world and maybe even in our real one too… but spring is such a promise, it is often refreshing and new – the colors, the breezes and warming trends in clothing. We should focus on spring… take the time to welcome it and savor that promise.
