Just around the corner, The Arcade Gacha – June 2016 round will open!  And oh my, all the goodies you will find.  Save your lindens because with the introduction of the new “player rewards“, you might just want to play lots of machines 50 times to get that special reward!

I’m featuring items from INK, B.C.C, Drot, Swallow and Mutresse in this post.  This hair from INK is just too fun!  Sure, I suppose it is for the men, but pfft… why should we let that keep us from trying it out?  The steamy police outfit is the rare version from B.C.C. paired with the police baton … yep!   I love the little skele-reindeer from Drot, it is an animatedt companion and a good example of the Player Reward.  OMG, have you seen the Witty Cats from Mutresse?  So adorable and such cute animations – this one is “Pissed Off”!  ha!

The Arcade opens on June 1 at 12:01am (that’s Tuesday night going in to Wednesday) so check out the shopping guide and put your lists together… and get ready for your inventory to grow!

Can you believe that in only 10 days, at the strike of midnight in SLT as the calendar page turns to June 1, another round of The Arcade will open?  Time really does move too quickly sometimes. However, it’s always an awesome month when the new quarter arrives and we can shop like crazy at The Arcade!  Snippets and teasers have already been seen on Flickr and designer blogs and more and more will be shared as we move closer to the opening.

In the meantime, The Arcade has made some exciting changes.  This round brings the addition of player awards.  The gacha machines have been updated and for those designers participating, if you play their machine a lot.. on the 50th pull, you will receive a special prize!  You’ll know if the creator is participating as there will be a picture of the prize by the machine.  These prizes will only be available during the current round and once the round closes, those prizes will be buried deep in the designer’s basement.  The prizes will be no transfer so these are for YOU only as a reward for being a dedicated gacha player!

The Arcade has also introduced a “Friends of The Arcade” option that allows you to put your name in lights as an avid supporter of The Arcade.  The Arcade team has commissioned an awesome one of a kind fountain from Cory Edo of Trompe  L’oeil and the names of those that donate will be displayed.  You can make your donation and learn more via the marketplace listing.

Fantasy Faire opened today in Second Life.  One of the most popular and most successful events each year, Fantasy Faire is a megaevent fundraiser for Relay For Life of Second Life.  It consists of 14 sims created by a group of fantasy creators – each with a different look and theme.  Within the 14 sims, you will find some of the most amazing fantasy creations for sale.  Each creator was asked to produce at least two unique and new items for a 100% donation to Relay For Life.  As you walk from one fantasyworld to the next, you will be immersed in lands that take your imagination in so many directions.  The Faire is open until May 1 so be sure to visit, buy lots of items from the RFL vendors, drop linden in the kiosks, and just let your avatar and mind wander.

ROQUAI and *NAMINOKE* have joined together to bring a beautiful set to the 2016 Fantasy Faire.  A beautiful petal outfit that covers and swirls all around your avatar including the wings from *NAMINOKE* paired along with some amazingly artistic poses from ROQUAI.  These can be found on the Echtra sim at Fantasy Faire until May 1.
