Happy New Year!

2013 seemed to fly by for me in some aspects and creep along in others. It was a tremendously busy year that had a very difficult start and remained to be a bit like a roller coaster. I experienced lots of laughter with friends and cheered them on during beautiful life events. And other times, I felt like my heart was split open and all the happiness was draining out. I worked tirelessly with a dedicated team of people to bring the 2013 Relay For Life of Second Life event to the virtual world successfully. I met new people and developed close relationships; said goodbye to a few; and sadly lost contact with a couple of others. I fought to keep the happiness within me and managed to survive emotionally to end the year.

2014 is here… and I have hope in my heart that it will be a better year. My goal is to have more happy days than sad; more laughter than tears; and to hold on tightly to the friends I cherish. I am also hopeful that those friends that seemed to disappear once again resurface and that I have the opportunity to know them once again.

And for all of us, I hope that 2014 will bring love, success, happiness, laughter, and that special wishes will be blessed.

Walking around The Arcade Gacha Event, it is amazing to see all the cool and creative items that will be up for grabs starting March 1! The creators have really done a great job making fun, cute, interesting and maybe even a few strange items that will be the “to die for” new craze starting tomorrow. March 1, 2013, welcomes the third session for The Arcade Gacha Event. Are you ready? The masses are counting down the hours and minutes as the creators have been marketing their offerings across Flickr, blogs, and websites for a few days. You can take a look at all the goodies to be had on The Arcade Shopping Guide. I think the build is spectacular and love the carousel out front as well. Be sure to check out The Arcade souvenirs out front too.

The doors will open to the public on March 1. Don’t be surprised to find that the sim will fill up quickly at first, and it will indeed stay busy over the first days. But patience and perseverance pay off in these circumstances. Make sure your wallet is stuffed with linden dollars and head on in… you will find yourself once again hooked on trying to get “just the right one” from each gacha machine! Be friendly, and have fun!
